The i-Track
An Internet based tracking system that combines the use of GPS and GPRS to track the movement of people, vehicles or equipment. The system includes both low cost GPS devices and a web-based software application for tracking and managing these devices.
Sample Implementation - This system can be used to track loan officer movement in real time as they service clients in the field. This can be useful as a control tool when loan officers are not reporting back to branches on a daily basis. Combined with UT Net, i-Track can be used to provide security over a physical device as well as ensure the tracked movements adhere to agreed routes. Vehicle tracking is an obvious application of this system in microfinance for organizations that service clients outside of branches or agencies.
